John Crowder is the recipient of an MBA from Saint Louis University

At the Sara Lee Corporation, Mr. Crowder at present manages the Customer Marketing function for Fresh Bakery, as well as internal and external sales communications. He oversees the development of shopper insights, category management, in-store marketing and customer supply agreements, and coordinates profitable pricing and promotion strategies. Mr. Crowder has helped drive the growth of the Sara Lee brand in Fresh Bakery from $150 Million in sales to now over $1 Billion in retail sales.
Previously, he served as interim vice president of customer management, managing a team of over 100 sales professionals against national accounts and regional buyers within the Southeastern United States. He helped lead Sara Lee grow to its current #1 national brand status in Fresh Bakery, and his teams have already been widely recognized as industry leaders in sales and category management within the $12 Billion Fresh Bakery category. With 20 years of specialist experience, he attributes his success to his leadership skills, systematic approach, and strong financial and analytical expertise.
In 1990, Mr. Crowder received an MBA from Saint Louis University. He enjoys spending time with his family, and supports his local church and also the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias.
