Dr. Solomon A. Dadebo received the Praxair NAIG Productivity Excellence Award in 2009

HOUSTON, TX, August 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ — Dr. Solomon A. Dadebo, Director of North American Industrial Gases (NAIG) Praxair Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in his career.

The director of Praxair Inc., Dr. Dadebo attributes his success to the assistance he receives from his mentors and difficult work. His day-to-day responsibilities consist of managing pipeline organization operations and overseeing energy costs. He has consistently exceeded productivity goals for seven straight years and pioneered the development of the global productivity center at Praxair. Prior to his current position, he was an adjunct associate professor at University at Buffalo (SUNY), department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.

The owner of two patents, Dr. Dadebo earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 1996 from Queen’s University, and a Master of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering in 1990 from the University of Toronto. In 1987, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, with Honors, from Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science & Technology. He serves as the president of Praxair Energy Resources a Joint Venture with Sterling Chemicals. Dr. Dadebo received the Praxair NAIG Productivity Excellence Award in 2009, and the Plant Innovation Award in 2006.
